The town is situated around its 10th century castle and the 17th century church of Sant Miquel, to the left of the Sanaüja stream. Two 14th-century sarcophagi carved with geometric and noble decorations stand out in the old cemetery. The town was part of the Señorío de los Marquises de Gironella.
